Dinner alone made the extra cost feel worthwhile. The steak was tender with a delicious, crunchy crust, and the dessert was the best, light, fresh, and tasty. We arrived late, but they got us checked in quickly so we could sit down to eat. The schloss is beautiful, and the service was amazing.

The food was extremely tasty, and there’s a nice gym with a sauna for working off the pounds the next morning. The staff were very friendly, and the place has that castle feel without any haunted ghosts, unless you’re drunk enough to think the former owner’s pictures are moving. I didn’t check out the separate cigar-smoking room.

The view was the best part, and the location and staff were great too. What a beautiful hotel to stay in. Its atmosphere is fantastic, and if you want to spend the night in a castle, this is the right place.

The grounds have paths for a walk and nice views, and the restaurant is quite good. Schloss Wolfsbrunnen is a delightful, romantic hotel near Eschwege. I’ve been there for events and have also stayed overnight a few times.

The food was good and the staff were great. I was there for a wedding, and the outside is much prettier than the inside. It’s quite dark and a bit expensive, so I’m not a huge fan, though it would make a great place for a Halloween party.
