Fährhaus Meißen B&b

We spent three days here and enjoyed every minute. Fahrhaus Meissen is enchanting, with genuine little details throughout and tasteful decor in both the rooms and shared spaces. Breakfast is presented in a way that makes you eager to eat. We’d highly recommend staying and enjoying the hosts and the place.

The managers are incredibly lovely, and breakfast is delicious. From nearly every room there are great views of the castle, and the town is only a short walk away. The lobby and rooms have been beautifully updated in the recent remodel. Nothing but good things to say about this romantic B&B.

After three weeks in Germany and stays at nine hotels, Fahrhaus Meissen was our favorite. The owner made us feel so welcome and was always available with suggestions for excursions and places to eat. She speaks English fluently, too. Our room was beautiful, and the breakfast was the standout among all the places we stayed. We’d recommend it without hesitation. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

The service was outstanding, and there’s off-road parking, so parking the car is easy. The rooms are big and clean, and breakfast was really nice. The location is great, with plenty of restaurants about a five-minute walk away.
