We slept really well and didn't notice much noise, even with the main road and railway nearby. The hosts were wonderful, and we'd love to return. The location is super central, with the old town, sights, and shops all within easy walking distance.

The apartment is right in the center, with lots of shops close by and the train station only 160 meters away. Its interior has a royal look, though it shows some wear. There's a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and hallway. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was well equipped apart from not having a microwave. The bathroom has a bath, shower, and two sinks. The beds have very soft mattresses, and the living room ones were uncomfortable because you could really feel the springs. Parking is the reason I'm taking off a star. There's hardly anywhere to park, and the gate into the courtyard is so narrow that only Smart cars can get through safely.

If all you need is a place to sleep, this is a good, affordable option. The bed and linens were clean, and the fridge and sink were clean too. There's private parking, excellent restaurants and bakeries nearby, and shopping close at hand. The location is super central. At times, traffic noise was heavy. The open ceiling panels had lots of dust balls and cobwebs, so it wouldn't suit anyone fussy about cleanliness. The apartment seemed poorly renovated, or perhaps the work was done badly. It was okay, but not pleasant, and I don't want to list every problem. The kitchen and its contents weren't inviting for self-catering. Take care driving into the backyard, as the entrance is tricky if you're unsure of your vehicle's width. Be careful in the shower so you don't flood the bathroom. The toilet cover sometimes comes out of the wall when flushing. There were also some dog hairs on the bed, but luckily we're not allergic. Landlords, please replace the toilet seat: the underside was entirely yellow and brown, and the rubber seals were worn through. A replacement doesn't cost much and should be done regularly in a holiday apartment.

The bathroom made the condition of the apartment hard to overlook. The shower head did not work, the water drained very slowly, and the curtain smelled bad and needed replacing. The taps were loose, with some turning on by themselves. The toilet looked neglected, the brush holder was disgraceful, and the tiles around and beneath it were heavily stained. The website said a hygiene kit would be provided, but there wasn't one. The towels were well past their best. We stayed during the second week of Easter 2022. There was a musty old-building smell when we arrived, and in the kitchen we found bread and rolls left by previous guests, completely moldy. The burnt residue on the stovetop could have been cleaned. The double bed had mismatched mattresses, one cold foam and one innerspring, where you could feel either the springs or the core. There were shelves but no wardrobes, and the radiator cover was crushed. The bed linen had a very odd smell. Turning over on the living room sofa bed was a bad idea: two slats fell out. The springs were noticeable in all the mattresses except the cold foam one. There were some useful points: parking in the backyard, shops directly across the street, and the old town nearby. The refrigerator, mirror, and chandelier were clean. Still, there were obvious construction defects throughout the apartment. Activism meets reality.
