Romantik Hotel Burgkeller & Residenz Kerstinghaus

The restaurant setting is amazing, with its view and terrace, but the menu is too limited and too focused on meat. We’d like more vegetables and fish. The hotel itself is super, with fantastic service and outstanding rooms. Get one facing the city and river if you can, they’re worth it.

We had a business meeting in a special room beside the bar, which worked very well for our group of up to 10. The breakfast room is small but has a magnificent view and a good selection. The terrace views are amazing, and our room was a pleasant surprise, quite luxurious for the price. It’s a very nice hotel on top of the Burg, with elevator access from the cheap parking. We’ll definitely come back.

The staff even arranged a last-minute doctor’s visit, which we were really grateful for. They also took care of everything for a birthday dinner, with lemon pie and a candle that night, plus a birthday cake we bought to take away. The service was excellent, the room was comfortable and had air conditioning, and the terrace and beer garden had an incredible view. Breakfast was great, with unlimited Sekt. Our one small request is that the hotel try to control the very active wasps on the terrace, as some people are allergic to stings. Many thanks to the management and staff. Five stars.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but stopped by before visiting the Dom. It was a lovely experience. The staff were so welcoming, and the coffee was great. I can only imagine guests enjoy it even more. Thank you to the kitchen and service staff for such a delightful visit.
