Hotel-Restaurant Löwen

The staff made us feel very welcome, and the hotel has loads of character. My husband and I spent four nights here and loved it. Our room was beautiful, clean, and warm. It’s a perfect base for visiting the Black Forest. Thanks again, Amy & Sean from Scotland

The chef came around the tables at the end of the evening to ask how we felt about the service, which was a lovely touch. This is a family-run guesthouse by the road, with standards and style that fit southern Germany. They do things properly, without mistakes. The food was OK, and it’s certainly a good place to stay. Breakfast let us down because we came late and most of the food was already gone.

We had a tasty lunch of soup of the day, goulash, and rösti with mushrooms, and the quality for the price was very good. The restaurant was clean and well kept, especially the toilets. The staff were polite and quick to answer our questions. I recommend the place.

I spent two weeks here a few years ago and really liked the German charm, restaurant, and good service. The only thing I missed was air conditioning, though that's not something you usually find over there like in the US. Great location for lots of sightseeing, and I highly recommend it.
