The food was excellent and the price was good. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the service was great. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

We planned to finish the weekend with ice cream at the hotel. Staff said it opened at 3 pm, so we arrived then, but after waiting ten minutes it was still shut and nobody seemed to be opening up. That's ridiculous. I live in town, so I can't comment on the hotel itself, but if they can't keep their stated hours, I don't expect much.

We ordered breakfast for 6:30 a.m., but there was almost nothing ready. The rolls didn't arrive until about 6:50, the juice was not topped up, and the deli counter wasn't replenished. On Wednesday, some rolls were reheated leftovers from Tuesday and rock hard, while the others were still frozen inside. At the end of Wednesday's workday, my colleague complained at reception. We heard back on Thursday, when the hotel had contacted our company to complain about how clean our rooms were when we left. I had made the bed, tidied the bathroom, swept, and aired out my room. There had been no room service all week. I guess the "breakfast lady" is expected to clean the rooms too. Some payback!

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and it's a great hotel. They also make fresh egg dishes for breakfast 👍👍👍
