The kitchen had everything we needed, including an oven, so we ate in quite a bit. We had to buy salt and pepper ourselves because the containers were empty. We booked the quadruple room and paid at reception for our few days there. The hosts were welcoming, and the modern room had a really comfortable bed. Just be aware that the sauna cost 9 euros per person each time, even though Booking.com said it was included with the room. One evening, a neighbor complained as soon as we were chatting outside the property late at night, which put a bit of a damper on things. We enjoyed the stay and would return.

The garden is large and has a trampoline, and there are lots of animals around, including ducks, horses, rabbits, and chickens. It’s a quiet, green spot.

The horses were a big hit with our drummer. Five stars.

The owner was kind and made us feel welcome. It’s a peaceful, cosy place to stay near Melle. I’d recommend it and would come back 👍🏼👍🏼

We had plenty of room in the “Quiet” room, with its own kitchen, bathroom, double bed, and bunk bed. It was very clean, and there were enough towels for all five days. Both owners were incredibly friendly and understanding, even when the children cried. There were four of us, including two toddlers, and in winter there wasn’t much for the little ones to do. Still, despite the below-zero weather, the lady showed my son the horses, and he even got to sit on a bouncy ball. I’d recommend the place anytime, though I think the lovely garden would make it better for young kids in spring or summer.
