Flair Hotel Drei Kronen

The staff really made the stay. They were welcoming and knew plenty about things to do nearby. The location was wonderful, the food delightful, and our room was clean and comfortable. We'll be back.

Being close to Bamberg made it easy to fit in some sightseeing. The hotel also has its own brewery, and I'd recommend trying the tasting menu. We liked the local Franconian dishes at the restaurant. For a business trip, it worked very well, with large, fully equipped rooms in an intimate neighborhood.

The rooms in the flair category were modern and quiet, and free parking was available. WiFi worked fine too. Dinner came out almost too quickly, though the food was tasty. The breakfast buffet had everything we needed, and service was generally quick. A well-run, modern little hotel with a historical setting, plus a restaurant and brewery.

We only went to the restaurant, where we had dinner and a Bierprobe with three different beers in small glasses. Both the food and beer were fine, but nothing special, more like standard home cooking. The desserts weren't homemade. Good overall, just not a standout.
