The rooms were cozy, warm, and well equipped, and the location was great. Staff were as welcoming as could be, and the hotel and meals were excellent. I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend it.

We were hiking between breweries in the area and stayed here. The beer, Görchla, was delicious, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooms had everything we needed. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and letting us check in early meant we could leave our big rucksacks behind for the hike. I'd absolutely recommend the hotel.

I liked the Wiener schnitzel so much on my second visit that I cleaned the plate. It was excellent, lightly fried, and not too heavy, with lemon and lingonberry sauce that went really well with it. I came back twice in one week because the food was so good. The Schäufele was very good too, though I wasn't keen on the potatoes, just a matter of personal taste.

The service was friendly and accommodating. I thought the Helles was slightly sweet, though my friend said it was the best he'd had. My favorite was the Görchla-bier. Some of the best beer I've tasted in the area.
