The central location by the old city and the exceptionally clean, nice rooms made a great impression. The employees were very friendly, including the kind staff in the bar, which had a wide selection of drinks. Breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of choice for everyone. What stood out most was how attentive the waiters were, continually clearing tables and keeping the food replenished. One of the best hotels I've ever visited!

The sauna is wonderful after a long bike ride, and the staff are brilliant. The hotel itself is fine, but the balconies are all covered in spider webs. Breakfast is a huge buffet, maybe too much: the avocado was mush and the tomatoes had dried out. They say that for stays of two nights or more, they'll skip cleaning the room unless you ask, to help save the environment. That's fine, and you get three free drinks in the fridge for it. But then there's a fridge using electricity 24/7? The duvets are the cheapest synthetic stuff and far too warm. I work in a Kringloopwinkel, and the pillows we had wouldn't even sell in our shop. And all those avocados? So much food going to waste. The idea is fine, but it hasn't been thought through.

The spa amenities were excellent, and everything in the hotel looks quite new after its recent renovation. I wasn’t keen on the leather details in some of the decor, though. Just a matter of taste. Very good hotel, highly recommended.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place earned one. The breakfast was one of the best, especially considering it’s in Europe. I’ve traveled a lot, so I know what I’m comparing it with. The rooms and facilities were nice and quite new, and the staff were nice and helpful.
