I stayed in the apartment with a balcony. It was clean and pleasant, had everything I needed for a great stay, and was good value. The owners are lovely and helpful, and they have bicycles. They can also speak English, which helped me a lot! Merkendorf is a charming "altstadt," with cobbled streets and old Bavarian farm houses. I especially loved the town museum and the wall around the village.

We were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the nearby Weißbachmühle spa. I use a wheelchair, but exploring the area on my handbike was no problem, and arranging a hospital bed rental was easy. The landlords are incredibly kind and organized it all. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely return. Thanks again for everything, The Schöne Family

Our apartment was spotless, and we and our dog had a relaxing, lovely stay. The Teubner family always gives guests a warm welcome, and the family atmosphere at the Teubner holiday home feels inviting. It’s in an idyllic spot in Merkendorf, with two butchers, a baker, and two grocery stores all an easy walk away. We hope everyone enjoys a beautiful, restful holiday like ours.

We especially liked the natural outdoor swimming pool, and there are lots of other leisure activities in this beautiful area. The host family is very friendly, and the accommodation works really well for families with children. There are usually other kids to play with, and the play barn has plenty of toys and room, which makes it a great option on a rainy day. The value for money is excellent. We’ll definitely come back.
