That was the worst night of my European road trip from the UK to Greece. I couldn't sleep because of a loud noise outside the room, coming from a large external refrigerator generator right beside Room No.15. The generator is constantly noisy, so this wasn't faulty machinery. Since I'd been unable to sleep and had to keep driving, I asked the woman at breakfast to turn on the restaurant lights at 6:15am. She was rude as a pig. The gentleman who cooked dinner when I arrived the previous evening was very nice, but overall it was a poor experience because of the unbearable noise and lack of sleep.

The restaurant is part of the hotel, and the food was amazing, an understatement really. The staff were exceptionally kind and professional. We've stayed twice for a day each time, and both times the hotel staff kindly upgraded our rooms. The rooms themselves were fantastic, extremely clean and modern, with big bathrooms. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here on both the way to and the way back from Austria, and got a free room upgrade each time. The location is amazing, reached by a short drive along a beautiful forest road from the highway. There's plenty of parking, and it's so peaceful. The restaurant was fantastic too, with kind staff and the best steak I've had in a good while. Would recommend!

The drive here was worth it. The place was very clean, in a lovely location, and had a great family room. The food was AMAZING, clearly made by someone who loves their work and food. ❤️

We had an extremely comfortable, spacious room and were fortunate to get an upgrade. The setting was very peaceful, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was the icing on the cake: absolutely superlative food, friendly and helpful waiting staff, and a comfortable dining area with some atmosphere. Parking outside was easy, and the pretty castle in Mespelbrunn was a short drive away the next morning. We'd definitely stay again for the comfort, good value, and exceptional food.
