The hotel is close enough to walk to the Villeroy and Boch factory outlet, and it’s right in the center of Mettlach. The rooms were nice, although unfortunately one of ours wasn’t very clean.

The owner was lovely, and we had a great time here. The rooms were very nice, and it’s a perfect spot for sightseeing and grabbing a cheeky drink.

We rented the suite at the Flair guesthouse, and it was fantastic, definitely worth it. The décor was tasteful and the place was superbly equipped. The host was friendly and helpful. It’s central but quiet at night, and there’s room to store bicycles in the courtyard. The Saar Loop is easy to reach from here.

All the useful details came by email beforehand, so arriving at Flair was easy and relaxed. After a long bike ride, the drinks waiting for us were a welcome treat. Our large room was thoughtfully decorated and comfortable, with a tea and coffee bar, fridge, fast Wi-Fi, and even a balcony overlooking the Saar River. The little touches made us feel very welcome. We could safely leave our bikes in the courtyard, and the tourist information office, bakery, cafés, and restaurants were only a few steps away. The host was engaging and personable, and we’d love to come back. Our rating: excellent or summa cum laude! 🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏽‍♂️😃👍
