The location right in the heart of the outlet center is unbeatable, you can step outside and start shopping within seconds.

I spent almost six months here, and Moxy Outlet City Metzingen came to feel like home. I worked for quite a while in the lobby, which had the feel of my own living room, and the staff were all very friendly. The atmosphere suited me as a business traveler, and of course the location is ideal if you’re shopping. One tip: book a room facing Outlet City. The lights stay on at night, and it makes for a completely different hotel experience.

I arrived on 14 November and stayed that night, only to find at check-in that my booking had accidentally been made for 21 November. I was there on the date I intended, explained the genuine mistake politely, and stayed at the hotel, but they wouldn’t correct it or offer a refund or any other solution. I was still charged the full amount for 21 November, a night I never stayed. The receptionist was polite and said the hotel policy meant he couldn’t help with a refund, so my issue is with the rigid system, not him. Afterward I called Moxy five times and nobody answered. A simple call back or answered phone could have helped me understand what was going on or get support. Management and customer service showed no flexibility or understanding, and offered no help despite my honest mistake and being physically there. They took my money without a solution. This felt completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Think twice before booking at Moxy Outletcity Metzingen.

The breakfast had lots of fresh choices and tasted great. My room was spotless, comfortable, and kept in perfect shape, and the service was just as good. Everything went smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for more and would recommend the hotel.
