The area is beautiful, and the accommodation was very clean. For two people, the furnishings were good and practical. What we didn’t like was having to bring our own towels and bed linen, which nearly filled our suitcase. You can rent them separately for 25 euros per person, which is steep. We could bring them for two people, but it would be difficult for a family with two children travelling in one car. We’d never encountered that before. We also paid over 100 euros for final cleaning, yet were expected to wash the dishes, sweep, and do other cleaning when we left. That was new to us too.

The owners live in the house, and talking with them was pleasant. They were helpful with tips about Rügen, friendly, and never intrusive. We’d definitely choose this accommodation again. The apartment had a lovely atmosphere, tasteful decor, was very well maintained, and was in a beautiful location. That stood out even more after seeing the crowds and bustle at tourist spots like Binz and Sellin.
