Beautiful place.

What makes this place memorable is how close it is to the beach. Walk through the rather sparsely landscaped garden and out a little gate, and you’re practically on the lovely sandy shore. The location is hard to beat. We stayed in a semi-detached holiday home in Lobbe. There’s plenty of room for a bigger group, with three bedrooms and an attic room that brings the capacity to eight. The main bedroom has a spectacular sea view. Just keep in mind that the attic room has no door. There are two bathrooms, one with a sauna, plus a roomy living area with a kitchen and large dining table. Outside, we had a terrace, beach chair, seating and barbecue. The house has some wear showing. A few pieces of furniture are old or damaged, including a broken patio chair and a damaged sun lounger. The bike storage is cluttered with old or broken furniture and umbrellas, the sofa is noticeably worn, and some kitchen drawers don’t slide well. None of these is a major issue alone, but together they take away from the impression. The patio and front garden also seemed neglected, with weeds on the patio and little sign of regular upkeep. We still enjoyed our stay, largely thanks to that unbeatable location. With some attention and a few focused improvements, the house could make much more of its potential.
