We slept really well. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet both inside the house and around it. The apartment was clean, well kept, and nicely furnished in a country style, with a lovely view of the Moselle and the vineyards from its spot beside a vineyard on the edge of town. We booked Landhaus Sonneninsel on the Moselle on the same Monday morning we decided to spend New Year's Eve away, December 30th. The phone call and our meeting that afternoon were both warm and friendly. During our stay, the host family was lovely to deal with and gave us excursion tips and plenty of information. The listing was clear that there was no full kitchen with a hob or oven. There was a microwave with a grill, toaster, kettle, pod coffee machine, egg cooker, and refrigerator. That was plenty for us to make breakfast and a simple dinner, especially since we expected to have lunch out while exploring the Moselle countryside. We ended up chatting with the family for ages on departure day. If my wife hadn't needed to work, we would gladly have extended the stay on the spot.

The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and we were more than happy with the apartment. It had everything we needed, with a fantastic view over the Moselle in lovely Minheim. We'd gladly return and recommend it.

The view across the vineyards to the Moselle was lovely, and the bed was really comfortable. There was a small kitchenette, and the hosts were kind and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and will come back.

The area is beautiful, but our stay was a real disappointment. Booking.com made everything sound great, yet the place didn't match that impression. There was no sign of the supposedly fully equipped kitchen. The beds were awful, and we were taking painkillers by evening. The duvets were much too warm for that time of year, and with no mosquito screens in the heat, mosquitoes and hornets got into the room. We felt uncomfortable the whole time and, with only one vacation week a year, wished we could have left right away. At 76 euros, the price wasn't justified.

Getting around from here was quick and easy, and the location is fantastic. We found the apartment clean, thoughtfully furnished, and with a breathtaking view. We had everything we needed. The landlords are a very friendly, helpful family. Many thanks, we'd definitely recommend staying here!
