The hearty food was delicious, and we heard accordion music at a restaurant on the pedestrian street. Mittenwald has a lovely Bavarian feel. It’s also known for its luthiers, and the painted facades and the church are both well worth seeing. It’s a remarkable village, hard not to fall for.

A spacious, very nice holiday home, close to the center while still quiet. We’d be happy to come back.

We really enjoyed the tasty food and friendly service. The restaurant is cozy, with a big terrace outside and a fantastic view of the lake. Highly recommended!

Yeah, it’s okay, I guess. I’m not really sure, but Bayern seems nice anyway.
