The balcony view was priceless, and the surroundings were beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. We had everything we needed in the accommodation, and bringing our dog along made an already wonderful vacation even better. It was one of the best trips we’ve ever had.

The landlord was very friendly and helpful, and the apartment was tastefully decorated, comfortably spacious for two, and had a well-equipped kitchen. From the sofa and balcony, the mountain views are fantastic. It’s very quiet, above the town center near the Karwendel cable car. Getting to the center takes nearly half an hour on foot, though, and part of the way is steep and slippery in winter. Recommended if you want peace and quiet and are comfortable walking.

The contact through "Isarherz" was very good. The vacation home is below the Karwendel Mountains, on a cul-de-sac, so it’s very quiet. There’s a footpath from the house to Mittenwald, about a 15-minute walk, though it’s not recommended in rainy weather. The apartment is very well furnished and works well for two families or a family with children.
