Ferienwohnung Machedanz

For someone passing through on business like me, Magasch holiday home wasn’t a great fit, though I can see why it would suit someone looking to get away from city noise. I’d recommend it if you have a car right outside. Otherwise, getting around is difficult, and it’s very expensive: about €160 for one person in the basement. I’ve found much cheaper places with more comfort on my frequent travels. After driving all night, I just wanted a shower and some food. There are no shops or restaurants in town, and getting a meal proved really difficult. Most restaurants only deliver after 5 pm or charge €50 or more. The owner, Ramona, picked me up personally from the truck stop for an extra €30, but then I was stuck. I was allowed to drive on after 3 am, which was stressful: no taxi drivers were around, and I was told it wasn’t worthwhile for a short trip of about 15 km.

We felt completely at ease at Ferienhaus Magasch and would gladly come back. The rooms were top-notch, everything was spotless, and our host was really warm and friendly. It exceeded what we expected.

We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay, and would definitely return. There was lots of room and everything we needed was provided. The grounds are fenced, with an electric gate. The owners were very friendly, helpful and easy to reach. Everything was perfect, clean and impeccably maintained. We have no complaints at all. Thanks so much for the lovely accommodation!

I found this place by chance after my car broke down on the way. The hotel owners kindly helped me deal with the problem and gave me assistance, and I’m incredibly grateful ❤️. It’s such a lovely spot, clean and cozy.
