Everything else was good, but the beds are hard, so keep that in mind. I also found dirty towels with spills hanging back on the hooks instead of fresh ones.

The breakfast buffet was good, and they made eggs to order. I had a large omelette. I also got an excellent hamburger with large fries at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel sits in a park setting. Most of the renovation work is finished, though a little construction remains. Given the major renovations since around two years ago, I’d disregard the older negative reviews. The elevator from 1959 seemed to be the only old thing left.

The room was comfortable and suited our needs, and breakfast was great. We also liked the restaurant’s delicious menu and the bar, where the staff were especially friendly. From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming and attentive. Checkout was quick.

It’s under a ten-minute walk to the Zentrum area, and there’s some parking behind the hotel. The covered spaces can’t be used while refurbishment is underway. The recent work has left the rooms feeling fresh, spacious, and clean. The restaurant is still being worked on, with the windows covered, so you miss the view of the trees outside.
