A convenient option for a night before or after a flight. The airport shuttle takes under 15 minutes and costs €10 per person.

From the outside, the hotel looks pretty ugly, but it’s actually decent inside. My room was roomy, clean and cozy, with what I needed for a comfortable stay. For the price, it was just right.

The receptionist was lovely, and the bed and memory foam pillow were comfortable, though that kind of pillow won’t suit everyone. The room was freezing overnight, around 17-18 degrees by my estimate, and there was no thermostat in it. We were told the hallway thermostat was set to 21, but the hallway was warm and the heating in our room never came on. It was early January and very cold outside, so the room got colder as the night went on. Not great with two small children. We’d planned to pay at the property with euros we’d saved for the end of our Europe trip, as Booking.com said that was an option. Instead, the card was charged on the day, leaving us with bank fees and a poor exchange rate. I mentioned it at check-in, but getting a refund sounded like more hassle and could have meant even more bank charges. The staff member said I should have called to say I wanted to pay at check-in, but Booking.com didn’t say that was necessary. It was okay for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

The building looked awful when my wife and I arrived, with every window open on a hot, humid day. I went to the front desk to ask whether they had any air-conditioned rooms. The receptionist said they didn’t have air conditioning, and when I asked for my money back, she said it couldn’t be returned. There was no professionalism at all. From the outside, it looked like a homeless shelter. Stay away.
