We had trouble finding parking. There wasn’t much space for guests, and leaving the car somewhere for a party later was expensive. We found a spot outside near a factory, but when we got back, we ended up parking in the woods and walking because the hotel felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. The hotel parking was €30 a night, a lot when our room cost €56. As a couple booking a standard room, there was no option to choose a double bed, so we got separate beds. The receptionist said there wasn’t another room, and that wasn’t her fault. The booking websites should have separate options for this. It was New Year’s Eve, but breakfast still ended at 10. After the Silvester party finished at 3 a.m., we had to get up at 9:30. They should make an exception that day and offer brunch.

Clean and quiet, with good Wi-Fi that worked really well. The buffet breakfast was simple but good, and there’s a market nearby. The airport is 10 minutes away, though there’s no shuttle bus. There wasn’t a safe in the room either.

The breakfast was okay, and I guess this is what you get in this price range, but the bed was too firm and the room was too warm with no way for guests to adjust the temperature. Parking cost €20, and there was nowhere nearby to park instead. They changed my room as an “upgrade,” but all that meant was an extra sofa bed. It made the small room so cramped I couldn’t unpack. I told the staff, and they moved me to a section for non-IHG members, where the room was exactly the same, just without the extended sofa bed.

The hotel has a shuttle, but it doesn’t start until 6 a.m., too late if you have an early flight. Despite the name, this isn’t at Frankfurt Airport. It’s about a 20-minute taxi ride, costing €30.

I was only in Frankfurt for a night before my flight and accidentally booked this place, thinking it was Holiday Inn Frankfurt, which is within walking distance. This hotel turned out to be about a 13-minute drive from Frankfurt Airport T1. Still, I got a free pickup shuttle from T1. I found the location and times online and didn’t reserve a pickup beforehand. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I booked a transfer back to the airport the next morning for about €10, just for peace of mind. I slept well, had a simple breakfast, and got back to the airport without trouble. Read the hotel name carefully, it can be confusing. 😅😬
