Gästehaus Waldeslust

I've returned for years because the place is such good value. The staff are friendly, everything's very clean, and breakfast is excellent. The sauna is included too.

The room and bathroom were both pretty small, though the bed was long enough. I could hear a little road noise through the windows, since the main road runs behind the older building. The rooms have been renovated, and it worked fine for an inexpensive night. For more space, you'd probably need to book in the main building.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and parking was easy. I stayed three nights by the main road, but with the windows shut I couldn't hear the traffic. The bed and the shower and toilet were all good, and the door opener gives you enough time to get inside. One drawback was the exposed walk to breakfast. It was sunny during my stay, but rain or snow would make that less pleasant. The 11kW charging stations are a welcome step forward, though I found the current price a bit high and hope it will be reconsidered. I was very satisfied and would recommend the place.

There was plenty of parking, and I ate well at the restaurant. I stayed here for work and was comfortable. The sauna area is small but excellent, and I definitely recommend it.
