The kitchen could really use some attention after all these years. Cleanliness was generally okay, but we felt like vacuuming as soon as we arrived. Bring your own kitchen cleaning bits if you can: we found just a tiny tear-off wipe, one dishwasher tablet, a dish towel, and a little dish soap. The dishes showed it, and there were still breadcrumbs from the previous guests. We also had to buy batteries for the bedroom window remote, since that was the only way to open it.

The apartment is furnished really nicely and feels comfortable. We had a lovely vacation. If you're coming with a dog or child, keep in mind there's no fence between this apartment and the neighbors. The quiet street is screened well by a hedge, with a fence inside the hedge, but the apartments themselves aren't separated by one.

We slept well in the box-spring bed, using our own pillows, and the little storage room for suitcases and supplies was handy. There's a roomy shed for bikes and a washing machine for occasional laundry. Wi-Fi is included. The apartment is in a good location and has insect screens, though it feels a bit dark. The patio chairs aren't comfortable for sitting long, since their backs don't adjust. I also missed having a microwave in the kitchen. The smart TV feels small from the sofa, and despite the online description, the bathroom has no window.

We stayed in Abendsonne, apartment number 8, in the Sterntaucher building. It was beautifully furnished, on the first floor, with a balcony and a very well equipped kitchen. It really felt like arriving and being at home. The beach is less than a five-minute walk away.

The manager is super nice, and the apartment is very well maintained. It's beautifully furnished and equipped with absolutely everything. I'd book it again anytime.
