We stayed in apartment no. 5 for 10 nights. It’s spacious enough, the kitchenette has what you need, the bathroom is fine, and the apartment was clean apart from the sofa. It stays cool in summer, and there’s a lovely garden for breakfast. The location works well if you have a car, and there’s a parking space. The sofa smelled strongly of a dirty dog. We only got one set of towels and one set of bed linen for the whole stay, and clean towels cost an extra €5 when we asked. The mattress was just mediocre. You can use a washing machine for €3 per load, but the room with the fitness equipment was very dirty and didn’t seem to get used. Wi-Fi was very unstable.

It’s a lovely, dreamy spot, and the house and garden are beautiful. The furnishings are quite dated and heavily worn, though. The street outside has rough cobblestones, so avoid a room facing it if you can. It gets very, very noisy.

The apartment was clean and nicely furnished, and we slept well. We enjoyed our stay when the weather was good. One thing, though: Wi-Fi cost €5, despite being advertised as free, and the tourist tax was €1.50 per person per day, not €1 as advertised. It’s not a huge issue, but it isn’t acceptable. Otherwise, highly recommended.

The location in Groß Zicker is good, though that’s not unusual for the area. These are holiday apartments rather than a guesthouse, but they’re clean and fully furnished. There’s also a great party room and a barbecue hut guests can use for free. Special thanks to the owner for the warm welcome and for letting us use the party room. We remember our time there fondly and would gladly return.

There were lots of spiders, and the apartment was dirty. It didn’t look like the pictures, apart from the bathroom. We’d booked an apartment with a terrace, but it was a shared terrace, and there were only two singles. The sofa was covered in hair, and the kitchen was run-down. It hadn’t been cleaned properly.
