The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was simple, clean, and quiet, with free Wi-Fi and a generous breakfast. Parking is right at the house.

We had everything we needed for a relaxing break: cozy rooms overlooking the lagoon, a generous breakfast, tasty fish in the evening, a live concert, and bike rental. The hostess was lovely and incredibly organized, and her staff were helpful too. Many thanks, we’d love to return.

We’ve been coming back to Pension Fröhlich for years and always enjoy our stays. The rooms are lovely, and I don’t understand the earlier reviews. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, the sort some hotels could learn from. As a coffee lover from Saxony, I can especially recommend the coffee. The team and service are outstanding, and it’s a beautiful, quiet guesthouse in the island’s most beautiful part. Prices are fair, and we’ll happily keep coming back.

The views at sunset were our highlight, with the sun going down over the sea right in front of the house and the Zicker mountains around us. It’s an idyllic, peaceful setting, perfect for hiking, relaxing, and taking a deep breath. We stayed two nights in the cozy, lovingly run guesthouse and had dinner at the restaurant, which is open to house guests or by appointment. The traditional food was delicious, and breakfast was varied and tasty too. It really feels like the world has slowed down here. Thank you for having us, we’d definitely recommend it.
