I loved every moment here while hiking the Eifelsteig. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast was incredible. The owner put so much love and effort into it. The lunch package was generous too.

The owner was very nice and prepared us a great breakfast. It’s an authentic place that has been well restored, and each room has its own atmosphere.

Monschau and this hotel were both wonderful. The owner was very kind, and breakfast was delicious. Getting to stay in a historic building was a great experience. It’s well worth the trip, even from faraway Japan.

The breakfast and room were just right, and the location was lovely too. The hospitality made it feel more like staying in someone’s home than in a hotel, in the best sense. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy Monschau. Everything was a 10/10.

That view over Monschau from our room made it feel as if we’d stepped back 200 years. The house had a wonderfully cosy, homely atmosphere, and it was a great base for exploring town. The owner took time to answer all our questions and share lots of information, and meeting her was a real pleasure. Breakfast was incredible, with thoughtful touches and a lovely presentation. We were sorry to leave and wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!
