Trier and Koblenz are both within an hour by car, along with plenty of other places to explore. We had a lovely, restful week in April 2024 for Grandma’s birthday, with three generations of the family staying in two apartments in the same building. We shared meals in the larger apartment downstairs. It was well equipped and high quality; the upstairs one didn’t have its own living room, but that worked fine for us. Getting there by car or bike is easy, though bus or train access would be difficult. Warm regards to the Ludwig family.

The Classic apartment on the first floor suited us perfectly, with its nice balcony, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, and oven. We were warmly welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig and really enjoyed our stay. It’s close to Bernkastel-Kues and not far from Trier. We’d happily recommend it, and the wine is delicious too.

Everything was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and there’s plenty of parking on site. The hosts are really friendly. The apartment is spacious, sunny, and quiet, and only a few minutes’ drive from the Moselle Valley. The kitchen has everything you need, with things like dish soap, spices, and tea already supplied, which you can’t always count on.

The tasting gave us a better sense of the Ludwig family and the local culture. We had a wonderful stay, and the hosts were very accommodating.

We were three families sharing this spacious, lovely holiday apartment and all felt very comfortable. The hostess was super friendly and easy to communicate with. The wine tasting is well worth it, and so is the walk to the vineyard behind the village, where the views over the Moselle are fantastic.
