Daumsmuhle

I go there regularly and always enjoy it. It's a lovely inn right next door, with a beer garden and restaurant that's just right for a relaxing break. The owners are very friendly, and the food is delicious.

We only recently tried this place for the first time, even though we live in the neighboring town. The beer garden food was very tasty and good value. There was just one server, so we waited a bit, but in the lovely weather and quiet atmosphere that was fine.

The terrace is lovely, surrounded by greenery, and the service was very friendly. The Schmucker wheat beer was nicely chilled, too. Still, you need patience: I waited an hour for beef sausage and fries, although it didn't seem especially busy.

We've had several really good meals here this summer. We started with a relaxed glass of draft beer on the lovely terrace, then had a tasty meal without any unnecessary frills. If schnitzel isn't your thing, the sausage salad with fries is worth trying. We'll definitely be back!
