We loved getting out to explore Dresden again, which is easy to reach by car or train. The holiday home itself is small but lovely, just right for two, and comes with towels, bed linen, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. The internet worked perfectly. The clear, spotless pool is thanks to the "pool attendant" :-) and the owner is friendly, easy to contact, and lives in the village. It's a quiet spot for nature lovers, with cycling and hiking trails through meadows and rapeseed fields, as well as castles and parks to visit. Shops are about 7 km away, while a restaurant and bakery are nearby in the village. We brought our dog and had no trouble with ticks, though there are a lot of them around this year, so good protection is a must. It was a perfect holiday for us.

We felt right at home here. With lots to explore on foot and all our other destinations no more than 30 minutes away by car, there's plenty to do. A nearby inn serves delicious meals about a 10-minute walk away. This is a great place for dog owners: the property is escape-proof and gives dogs plenty of room to run. It's an excellent holiday home if you're after a quiet stay without much action.

There's a lot to see in the area, so plan ahead or visit often, because one trip only lets you experience a small part of it. The hiking options are varied, and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains offer stunning views if you'd rather just relax. Dresden, the beautiful baroque city, is about 20 km away, and a visit to our Czech friends is also within easy reach. For anyone looking for peace and quiet, it's an ideal spot.

The house and grounds are kept in very good shape, and it has a pool and everything you need. From here, there are countless possible trips, including Saxon Switzerland, the Eastern Ore Mountains, and Dresden.

I felt completely comfortable here. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and it's a lovely place to relax. I can highly recommend it, especially if you're bringing pets. The pool and barbecue area are a real draw for someone like me coming from a big city.
