The old building has charm and the location is fantastic, which makes it a real shame that we won't be back. The meal was the worst we've had in a long time: an unidentifiable starter soup with a bit of everything in it, rubbery schnitzel, tasteless roulades with dumplings and red cabbage, and a dessert that was just a sugar rush. On top of that, the service was extremely irritable and, sadly, unkempt. The staff seemed annoyed and overwhelmed by every question, and we even felt bad asking for extra ketchup and mayo.

We had lunch at the Peterhof. Most of us thought the food was okay, but the service was so unfriendly that we felt uncomfortable in the restaurant. There wasn't one kind word, or even a "please" or "thank you."

The dining room smelled musty and stale, and the food wasn't tasty. The prices felt exorbitant, which was disappointing since the food used to be good years ago. We won't be back, and I can't recommend it.
