The breakfast had plenty to choose from, including breads, meats, fruit, vegetables, juice, and coffee, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They even offered us a coupon for an outing. We were two adults with children aged 12 and 14, and appreciated that the staff spoke English. The hotel and our room were clean and tidy, and it was a 2-5 minute walk to downtown Mullheim. Parking was tight, so we had to get used to maneuvering in the small lot, but we found a spot each day. We enjoyed staying at Hotel garni Schacherer and would come back.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the receptionist was nice. It was quiet, with a good location and checkout available until 11am. Parking at the hotel is limited, but there was plenty of public parking right in front. Several nice restaurants are within 2km. It’s a little expensive, though I felt it was worth it. I recommend this hotel.

The welcome was really friendly, and we were offered a drink when we arrived. The hotel feels a bit dated, though it has a lovely garden. There’s also a “natural pond,” as they call it, but it was full of autumn leaves and didn’t look very inviting for a swim.
