Maseven Muenchen Messe Dornach

The room had a microwave and kettle, which were the only real positives. The floor was dirty, and cleaning seemed very poor or infrequent. The receptionist said rooms are cleaned once every four days. The cutlery at breakfast was dirty too, as if it hadn’t been washed. It gave me the impression they were saving on water and cleaning products, and that approach to hygiene is unacceptable for a hotel calling itself 4-star. Breakfast was a mess and a disappointment. The so-called buffet was just a few slices of sausage, cheese, cereal, bread, and scrambled eggs. Food ran out quickly, the bowls were often empty, and refills took a while. It was unpleasant and chaotic. We stayed for 2 nights, and I really can’t recommend this hotel. I’m writing for people choosing where to stay, since I don’t expect this review to change the hotel. Read this carefully and think before booking. For the same money, I’m sure you can find much better options.

Thanks especially to Viet at reception for being helpful and focused on guests. This apartment hotel works well for a quick stopover, and could suit a longer stay too.

Huge rooms and a great dining area, plus fitness machines right by the elevators. There’s even a permanent ironing station in the lobby and washing machines under what looks like a DJ table. Maybe that’s for the occasional rave party? Kidding, but it really is a DJ table. Great value too, even during the Octoberfest, at less then 150 euro. It feels like the hotel of the future, though the rooms seem unfinished despite all that space. Maybe add carpet or a sofa. Breakfast could be better as well.

Nice hotel, but the promised chargers are disappointing. Parking costs another 12 euros, and you need a different app with an upfront payment instead of just using your regular company car.
