This was the most expensive of the four hotels I used on a trip through four cities, and the worst experience. The breakfast was poor and overpriced, and the stated 150m to the car park turned out to be over 300m. The room was tiny, with nowhere to sit except the bed or an uncomfortable stool. There was a bedside table on only one side of the bed. Why? The hotel was extremely clean, and I can’t fault its hygiene, but there was no human contact during my stay. I had to check myself in, carry heavy luggage to the third floor because the lift was broken, and clear my own breakfast plates. The only staff member stayed in the kitchen and came out just to restock the buffet. I value having someone available if a problem comes up, and that was sorely lacking. For the price, the whole stay felt like a B&B cutting costs while maximizing room revenue. I’d never stay in this chain again.

For what we paid, it was a bargain, and I’d stay here again. My daughter, our small dog, and I spent five nights in a family room with a big window. I enjoyed watching people pass by, and the trains were fun to look at. There are lots of restaurants nearby, from expensive to cheap. The hotel was spotless, and the cleaning lady kept our room fresh. The breakfast area was just as clean, and everywhere was tidy. I would have liked a few more amenities, but what was there was enough for the price.

We stayed one night in a family room during a stop in Münster. It was spacious, with comfortable beds and a great view. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and the hotel is close to the train station and an easy walk from the center.

We arrived in the evening without planning ahead and checked ourselves in within five minutes. The room was clean and comfortable for the price, with all the essentials, even a hairdryer. There were no toothbrushes or good shampoo, but that’s fine at this price. We could sleep in and stay until midday before checking out, which was great. A really good experience.
