Lilis hotel has a one of a kind, homely feel, set in a big house in a residential neighborhood. The kitchen is shared, well stocked, and works on a trust box where you pay for whatever you eat or drink. Toilets and showers are shared too, so if you want your own facilities, this won’t suit you. If you like a small, family style place, though, it’s a unique option.

I really liked it here, and was sorry when it was time to head home. It’s perfect for a peaceful romantic getaway. I’d recommend it and would happily come back.

The people here are very hospitable, and smokers can use the terrace at any time. The hotel feels cozy and has a kitchen for guests, though there’s no breakfast, unfortunately. Getting into Münster city center is easy, with a bus stop under 500 meters away. A return ticket for two people costs €12.50. The one drawback was sharing a bathroom with another couple, though we were lucky to be the only guests while we were there.
