For our family, the best part of the trip through Italy and Germany was staying at Münstersdachstübchen. My daughter said it was her favorite place during our 15-day trip because it felt like home. The host had the things travelers need, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and practical, including a baby bed. It isn’t in central Münster, but getting there was easy for us: Line 6 takes about 20 minutes, followed by a five-minute walk. There’s a supermarket near the bus stop, and the neighborhood felt quite safe.

The flat is nicely equipped, and the owner is easy to reach and happy to help. Just keep the location in mind: it’s fairly close to the congress center, but getting there takes about 15 minutes by bus.

We felt very at home in this holiday apartment. It’s in a quiet residential area with good connections to the center of Münster, and free bicycles are provided. The converted attic has a lovely feel, with thoughtfully furnished rooms and a very small kitchen that’s still well equipped. Everything was neat and clean, and the hostess was friendly and helpful.

I was left out in the rain that evening and had to find a hotel at short notice. The doorbell didn’t open the door, and I didn’t hear a call either when I rang or beforehand on my cell phone. The reservation confirmation had a phone number and asked me to call 30 minutes before arriving. It was a bitter experience, and I still haven’t heard anything from them.
