The EDEKA supermarket and bakery are only about a five-minute walk away, and with towels, linens, and a well-equipped kitchen already there, we barely needed to bring anything. We’ve stayed here for a week in May two years in a row, five friends aged 40 to 50, and both visits were excellent. The living room is roomy, and the upstairs bedrooms give everyone plenty of space and privacy. There’s also an original Weber kettle grill outside, plus an induction hob, microwave, and large fridge-freezer. The only small snag was having the toilet and shower in the same room. We had to coordinate a bit in the mornings and evenings, but it was manageable for a week. We had a fantastic time.

The setting is lovely, the place is well equipped, and the contact was friendly. Cleanliness could have been better, though.

It’s a charming holiday home with everything you need and really nice furnishings. A good base for exploring Lake Goitzsche and the Muldestausee reservoirs.
