Hotel & Gaststätte zum Erdinger Weißbräu

I've been here a couple of times with friends, only for the restaurant. The outdoor dining is excellent, and it's also a great spot to meet indoors. It can get very busy on weekends, so for a large group I'd book ahead. The food can take a while to arrive, but it's worth waiting for 😊

We stayed nearly a week. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and breakfast was great. We thought breakfast was included, though, so it was disappointing to have to pay for it when we left. The towel heater didn't work. The restaurant was quite good too, handy for a drink and a snack.

The staff were helpful, and the hotel is excellent and perfectly placed for my hospital meetings. My early departure was stressful because there was no night concierge, with nobody at the desk between 4pm and 7am. They should make this clear at check-in and display it more visibly at the entrance. The staff at the restaurent helped me check out and book a cab, and I'm very grateful for that.

We were staying at the hotel attached to the restaurant and came down for dinner on Friday. Even though it was packed, with several parties going on as well as restaurant guests, they found us a place in a separate room after telling us the restaurant was full. We were able to eat there, and the food was tasty and arrived promptly. I had the meatballs, while my wife had the Bavarian cheese dip with pretzel and tomato soup. It was a good experience.
