We paid €185 a night and felt it was well worth it. The staff were lovely, and there’s a great pizza and beer place right across the street. On our last day, after checkout, they safely stored our bags while we spent one more afternoon in Munich. The hotel is just a five-minute walk from a tram that gets you to the city center in a couple of minutes. It doesn’t have air conditioning, which Americans like us are used to, but the breakfasts each morning more than made up for that small inconvenience. A friend and I stayed here while backpacking through Germany a couple of years ago.

Simple rooms, but clean and well cared for, and just right for a good night's sleep. The food was great, the staff were friendly, and the price was very reasonable by Munich standards. I’ll definitely come back.

The standout for me was the food. Breakfast was included and had one of the best buffets I’ve come across. We ordered lunch at the restaurant too, and it was top notch. They brew helles and Weiss beers fresh, along with other drinks, and we tried both. There’s also a Biergarten that adds a nice Bavarian touch. You can pay by cash or card. The hotel is in the München Pasing Region, beyond the first four rings on Munich’s transit map. It’s easy to get around: buses and trams are closer than the S Bahn station at München Pasing, which is nearby. I was very happy with the staff and my comfortable bed. The rooms are on upper floors, and I happened to get the same room I’d seen on the booking website. München Pasing may feel a bit far away, but the hotel deserves full marks. I recommend a visit.

The dinner menu was limited, but I still liked the hotel overall. The staff were nice, and public transport is nearby. There’s paid parking close by, or you can try for a free spot near the hotel.

The shower wall was dirty and uncomfortable. Breakfast was very cheap and lacked variety, and the room was a little below the standard of other German hotels at the same price. Three stars at most.
