Creo Munchen Sud

We had a car, so the hotel's location on the outskirts of Munich worked fine for us. The rooms are warm, clean and spacious, and the low price is a plus. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Electric shutters on the windows mean you don't need curtains. The one nuisance was the bathroom fan, which rattled constantly and never stopped.

I still haven't managed to have breakfast during my stay, so this morning I went to get what I'd paid for. When I asked for two eggs, the staff member said something like, “No wait, no available, that's 12 euro cost?” I'm not sure where she's used to working, but in other hotels they greet you, ask for your room number and help out. She kept saying she didn't understand, in an aggressive tone, and it affected my morning. I've been here three days on a business trip from Dubai. It's a new hotel, open since April 2022, and seems ideal and practical for business. It's super clean, the beds are comfortable, and most staff are wonderful and helpful. I'd just avoid asking for anything specific, as that doesn't seem to be their style. McDonald's is around the corner and has great service and eggs! Without this experience, it would definitely have been a 4/5 for me. I'd call it a place to sleep, rather than an ideal bed and breakfast, though there's room for improvement. 👍

I thought I'd paid for the room when I booked through Agoda, but on arrival I paid again, along with the dog and parking charges, which were fine. A few days later I noticed the room had been charged twice. I called the hotel and was told to call back. When I did, an incredibly rude woman, who wouldn't tell me her name, used remarks like “oh my God...” while I was raising a complaint. When I said her German wasn't good enough for the job, she hung up. I haven't been able to reach them since. I don't think this is the right way to handle things, so I contacted the owner and am trying to show other people what happened.

Quirky at best. The room was basic, but the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was great, with a big shower that could fit two. There was a microwave, fridge and sink, but no way to make tea or coffee in the room. Go figure. No bar in the hotel either, which was disappointing.
