Breakfast was genuinely fantastic, and the hotel is great value for money in a prime spot. I’d recommend it especially to solo travelers and business visitors, and I’ll definitely be back. Mercure Hotel Munich Altstadt is right in the city center, with shopping streets and plenty of restaurants just a few minutes away on foot. Tram stops are nearby, and the main train station is about a 15-minute walk. The rooms are small, but recently upgraded and laid out practically, so it didn’t feel like anything was missing. For one person it was perfect. Couples staying longer may want to consider the size, though for a short trip it’s more than enough.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with something for everyone. The staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help. Thank you for the warm hospitality, and especially thank you to Angelika! I’ll definitely come back. Wishing the hotel continued success, many happy guests, and the same excellent service ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I loved the comfortable, clean, modern room, and the stocked fridge was such a nice touch. Breakfast was included and amazing, and we really appreciated the coffee. Marienplatz and lots of attractions are within walking distance, so the location was great. I can’t wait to return.

The eclairs at breakfast were absolutely delicious, and the chilies used as dish decoration made my day 🥹. The hotel is a great base for getting around Munich, right in the heart of the city. The Christmas market is just a 2-3 minute walk away, with lots of restaurants nearby and a DM store close by. Lovely stay and great location!
