Breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed for a few days in July 2007. The room was clean and a little small, but very affordable for Munich. I’ll definitely come back.

I was there on a business trip and liked the room a lot. The breakfast cost an extra 12 euros, though, and didn’t feel worth it: just some bread, cheese, and cornflakes.

The rooms are small but clean, and the place feels more like a guesthouse than a proper 2 or 3 star hotel. There’s not much to expect from the bathroom: the water seemed quite hard, there was no lotion, and my towels were torn. Breakfast was no good, with no fresh fruit or hot food and cheap supermarket bread. Vegetarians should look elsewhere for options. I stayed here recently and found it pretty average.

The peaceful setting was a real plus for me. Villa Solln is away from the busy streets, so I could unwind, and the staff welcomed me warmly and professionally as soon as I arrived. I also really enjoyed the meals. The breakfast selection at Villa Solln was varied, with fresh-baked bread and pastries, and dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Service during meals was excellent too. My room and the common areas were kept immaculately clean, which made the whole stay feel comfortable and hygienic. Every part of my experience at the Hotel felt five-star worthy, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. Regards, Siraj

We had a lovely, clean room and the team was awesome. Such a great hotel, and really comfortable with public transit close by.
