The extra bed in the living room didn’t work for me, though there’s another option. Apart from that, after more than 100 vacation rentals, this house still managed to surprise me. It’s peaceful, stays pleasantly cool even when it’s 30 degrees Celsius outside, and has plenty of books and games. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and you feel at home. The rooms are spacious, the double bed is good, the bathroom has a nice shower, and there are even bathrobes. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, and the home is tastefully decorated with lots of thoughtful details and modern comforts. It’s clearly our top pick among vacation rentals under €100. We used the voucher for the decoration barn, where there’s something for everyone, and the tip for restaurant Di Andrea was spot on. There’s also a rooftop terrace.

We’ve already planned another stay. The "Höllental" hiking area is within walking distance, and the surroundings are great for hiking. We really enjoyed the charming house and its thoughtful design, and the Keim family looked after us wonderfully both before and during our visit.

The hiking trails through the Franconian Forest were a real highlight, with lovely green woods and scenery where we could recharge. Our short workation at Deko-Scheune in picturesque Naila was just right: the holiday home was cozy and comfortable, and its charming, lovingly chosen furnishings made for an inspiring place to work. The hosts were welcoming from the start, very friendly and accommodating, and available when we had questions or concerns. We’d wholeheartedly recommend it for a workation surrounded by nature. Thanks for such a memorable stay, we’ll definitely be back.

We’d gladly return. The owners are really nice, and there’s a shop in the house next door where you can pick up gifts or stylish things for your home or garden. You get the whole house to yourself, with a well-equipped kitchen and parking right outside.
