We spent four nights here in mid-April as a couple with our one-year-old, and had a great time in Naumburg. The apartment was spotless, which mattered a lot with our baby crawling around, and the family renting it was friendly and easy to deal with. Everything went smoothly, and they even left a welcome bottle of water. The place is on the ground floor of an old half-timbered house, but inside it feels modern and tastefully furnished. There’s a kitchen, bathroom with shower, bedroom, and living area. The kitchen has a fridge with freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, coffee maker, kettle, and supplies including dish soap, fresh cloths, cleaning products, paper towels, salt, pepper, coffee, and tea. It’s set up for about four people. They provided a high chair at no extra cost, and we appreciated the child safety locks on the outlets. Wi-Fi was good, and secure parking at the property was free. The location in the old town made getting around easy. Shops, including a supermarket and bakery, are nearby, with restaurants too. The historic tram stop is only a short walk away, and the tram goes to the main station, market square, and cathedral. You can use the Deutschlandticket on it. The cleanliness, helpful hosts, well-equipped apartment, central location, and free secure parking made this a five-star stay for us.

We’ve been meeting up for spa breaks in different parts of Germany for 30 years, and Domizil stands out for its especially kind, thoughtful, attentive hosts. Even arranging things beforehand with the landlord was a pleasure. The apartment was quiet at night despite being centrally located, and we slept well. It had a furnished balcony, free parking, comfortable mattresses, and luxurious Italian designer bed linen by Zucchi/Bassetti. The furnishings were high quality and tasteful, and suited the house beautifully. There were plenty of attractive dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils, and everything was very clean. Mr. Friedel was easy to reach and gave us useful tips and recommendations. He also kindly arranged a second women’s bicycle for us, in addition to the free, high-quality bikes. We highly recommend staying here and will come back. There’s still lots to discover in beautiful Naumburg.

We felt right at home here. The place had fresh flowers and a really welcoming feel, and all the many electrical outlets had child safety locks. There’s lots of room in the living and dining area. Upstairs are a roomy bedroom with a box-spring bed, a well-designed large bathroom, and a small extra bedroom. The windows have blackout curtains. It’s right in Naumburg’s historic center, and the furnishings are high quality. The kitchen has everything you could need.
