The lovely garden area serves tasty food, local wines, and beer, and Lutz Schlag was a very friendly, helpful owner. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a small kitchen that had a stove and oven, a pleasant sitting room, and a sleeping loft upstairs. It’s in Rossbach, just outside Naumburg, right in the charming Saale-Unstrut wine region.

We especially enjoyed coming back to the warm, cozy apartment after the first autumn storms. It’s tastefully decorated, has excellent amenities, and had everything we needed. The holiday apartment is in the small village of Roßbach, with two wineries right next door. A great base for hiking or cycling.

We booked App. 5 at the Alte Schmiede holiday home on short notice and weren’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a lovely weekend. The modern furnishings had lots of thoughtful details, and the place was spotlessly clean. Mr. Schlag welcomed us warmly and made us feel like guests the whole time. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We’d love to come back! 🍀👍

We had a fantastic wine and hiking weekend at the Alte Schmiede and would love to return. We stayed in apartments 5 and 1, both beautifully and carefully furnished to a high standard. The kitchens had everything we could need, and the beds were heavenly. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we especially enjoyed the garden terrace. Mr. Schlag was a super friendly, helpful host. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
