Haus Am Burghain

Quiet, clean, and a nice place to stay. I’d recommend it.

What a lovely place!

The peaceful setting won me over, with forest, beautiful nature, and such fresh air all around. Inside, the house feels cozy and comfortable, and everything is sparkling clean. The hosts were so warm, friendly, and welcoming. Thank you so much, this place will stay in my heart! ♥️ 😊🙏🏻

We made good use of the garden in the nice weather, and the hostess even offered us wine and water. When it was time to pay, she surprised us by treating us, and she also suggested restaurants in the village. That hospitality was a real highlight. We'd booked two double rooms and a single for a last-minute stop on the drive back from vacation. Being close to the A38 worked well, though Google Maps sent us in on a hiking trail, which made arrival a little tricky. The hostess greeted us warmly. The rooms have lots of thoughtful details, and some have balconies. One double room had a renovated bathroom; the other still had an older 1970s-style one, but it was so clean that this wasn't a problem. Shower gel and shampoo were provided too. Coffee, tea, water, and pastries were there for guests free of charge. There's also a well-equipped shared kitchen for anyone who wants to cook. Everything was clean and nicely arranged. We'd happily return, especially for the great value.
