The room was huge, and the simple, comfortable stay had everything I needed. It's in a wine region.

The food was delicious and fairly priced when we had lunch here. Drinks cost quite a bit, though, and the atmosphere wasn't very pleasant.

The scenery here is stunning 😄, and I found the peace and quiet I was after. It's a privately run country hotel, a cozy place rather than something ultra-modern. If you're after a soulless urban five-star hotel, this won't suit you. But for a quiet break and walks or bike rides to enjoy the landscape, it's perfect. I was welcomed so warmly, and the whole stay felt relaxed. The staff and the hotel itself made me feel like I was visiting friends. My room was spotless, the mattress was comfortable, and they kindly checked whether breakfast worked for me. It did: I could choose sweet spreads or savory options with different sausages and cheeses, salmon, and various cereals.
