Pension Kirschgarten

We were cycling through and stayed here for one night. The room was practical and very clean, and the kitchen had what we needed. Our bikes had a secure place too. Thanks for making it so easy to accommodate our special requests. Best wishes, Heike and Veronika

We were very comfortable in this charming little guesthouse. The renovation is lovely, with spacious, stylish rooms and brand-new bathrooms. There’s also a separate area where you can lock up bicycles. Really, what more do you need?

The host was flexible and very friendly, and we’d happily stay here again if we’re nearby. After we accidentally left our key with a friend and got locked out following a 30-minute walk, our friend called him in the middle of the night. He came to open the door and gave us a spare key right away. Great service. We stayed for two nights, and everything else was just right too. The decor was tasteful, the beds were comfortable, and I loved the towel colors 😅!

Nebra has some steep hills, and the guesthouse is on one, but they’re manageable. With e-bikes, it was no problem. Our bikes were kept safely in the lockable bike garage. We got there too early, while the owner was heading off to work, but he still welcomed us, showed us around, and explained everything carefully. The rooms were newly renovated and in great shape. Since our small group were the only guests that day, we had the cozy shared kitchen to ourselves and cooked a lovely meal. We hadn’t spotted the cute covered pool in the photos. May was still a bit chilly, but we enjoyed it anyway. Breakfast was very good too, served a few streets away at Sommerfrische wine and courtyard café, which is run by the host’s mother. Thank you!
