When I came back for my second visit, my complaint about the salad was denied, brushed off as impossible, and then ignored. On my first visit, beer was spilled on my companion’s trousers. There was a short apology, but then he ignored me. No compensation was offered, whether a reduced bill, a free drink, or anything else.

The food was excellent, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere has a lovely rustic feel that never goes out of style. Five stars, well deserved.

There were four of us for dinner, and the food was sensationally good. The salad was fantastic and the service outstanding. A full five stars, highly recommended.

The chef cooks here himself, and the dishes are excellent. It’s a very good restaurant, with a great atmosphere and very good value.
